At IILT Education Private Limited (“IILT”), we are committed to maintaining transparency and fairness in relation to programme enrolments, cancellations and refunds. Students are encouraged to carefully review the programme details, fee structure, schedule and applicable terms before completing their enrolment.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to payments made towards programmes and educational services offered by IILT Education Private Limited.

1. Cancellation Before Enrolment into Services

Where a student requests cancellation before being enrolled into or provided access to the applicable programme services, the student will be eligible for a full refund of the programme fee paid, subject to deduction of applicable taxes, if any.

For the purpose of this policy, enrolment into services may include activation of the student’s programme, allotment to a batch, commencement of classes, activation of learning platform/LMS access, or provision of programme-specific academic services, as applicable.

2. Cancellation After Commencement of Services

Where cancellation is requested after the student has been enrolled into or has commenced receiving programme services, the refund, if applicable, will be processed after deduction of applicable taxes and other applicable deductions in accordance with the terms of the respective programme.

Such deductions may take into account services already provided or activated, including academic services, classes, learning resources, LMS/platform access, administrative services and other programme-specific components, as applicable.

The refundable amount may therefore vary depending on the programme, stage of participation and services already provided at the time the cancellation request is received.

3. Voluntary Discontinuation and Non-Attendance

Voluntary discontinuation, prolonged absence, failure to attend classes or failure to utilise learning resources made available by IILT shall not, by itself, be treated as cancellation of the programme or automatically entitle the student to a full refund.

Any refund request following commencement of services will be assessed in accordance with the applicable programme-specific refund terms and will be subject to applicable deductions.

4. Batch Changes and Rescheduling

A request by a student for a batch change, postponement or rescheduling shall not ordinarily be treated as cancellation of the programme.

Where feasible, IILT may accommodate such requests in accordance with the academic and operational requirements of the respective programme.

5. Cancellation or Rescheduling by IILT

IILT may occasionally be required to reschedule a class, batch or programme due to academic, operational, faculty-related, technical or other circumstances.

Where a programme or batch is rescheduled, students will ordinarily be accommodated in the rescheduled batch or another appropriate batch.

If IILT permanently cancels a programme and is unable to provide a reasonable alternative, the applicable refund will be determined based on the services already provided, if any, and subject to applicable statutory deductions.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

Requests arising from exceptional circumstances, including serious medical or humanitarian situations, may be considered separately by IILT.

Such requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may require appropriate supporting documentation. Consideration of an exceptional request does not automatically guarantee a refund.

7. Refund Request and Processing

Students seeking cancellation and/or refund must submit a request through an official communication channel of IILT, along with the relevant enrolment and payment details.

IILT will review the request based on this policy and the applicable programme-specific terms.

Where a refund is approved, the refundable amount will be calculated after deduction of applicable taxes and any other applicable programme-specific deductions.

Approved refunds will ordinarily be processed through the original payment method or to a verified bank account, as applicable. The time taken for the amount to reflect may vary depending on the banking system or payment service provider.

8. External Examinations and Outcomes

Where a programme involves external examinations, certifications or other third-party processes, such outcomes may depend on the student’s performance and/or decisions of the respective external organisation.

Unless specifically committed under the applicable programme terms, failure to achieve an external examination, certification, employment or other third-party outcome shall not by itself create an entitlement to a refund.

9. Programme-Specific Terms

Certain programmes may have specific refund, cancellation or fee-adjustment conditions based on their structure, duration, services included and stage of delivery.

Where programme-specific terms have been communicated to and accepted by the student at the time of enrolment, those terms shall be read together with this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10. Policy Updates

IILT Education Private Limited reserves the right to update this policy periodically to reflect changes in its programmes, processes or applicable requirements.
